London Marathon
London, England – 4/21/24
My first international marathon and fourth of the World Marathon Majors. I ran as Crowley from Good Omens. It was quite an experience, but I did have a rough last few miles. My time was 4:12:51.
Cottontail Classic 10k
Madison, WI – 3/30/24
Always one of my favorites. I ran as a chocolate bunny with a bite out of it. Always a hilly and challenging race. I ran 46:53, 3rd woman overall.
Luck of the Irish 10k
Milwaukee, WI – 3/17/24
Last of the Winter Series races, it was very windy and cold. Right by Lake Michigan. I wore my pot of gold outfit, and ran 47:05.
Sand Hollow half marathon
Hurricane, UT- 3/9/24
Fun local race in Southern Utah, where I was visiting my mom. I ran a bit faster than last year, 1:44:33, and was first in my age group.
Cupid Shuffle 10k
Milwaukee, WI – 2/11/24
Part of the local winter run series, I wore my valentines outfit. I was 4th overall woman, 46:15.
Run Aruba half marathon
Aruba – 1/29/24
On a running vacation with Marathon Expeditions, did a half marathon along the beach and up to the lighthouse (twice!). It was hot, humid and windy, but still a lot of fun. I wore my Ariel mermaid outfit that I had planned to use at Disneyland before I got sick.
Disney World Dopey Challenge (5k/10k/half/full)
Disney World, FL – 1/4-7/24
Second year in a row to do the Dopey Challenge. Walked/ran the 5k with my two granddaughters and their parents, as characters from Inside Out. I was Chip with plush Dale for Suellen for the 10k, Beaker for the half (which was shortened to 7 miles due to storms), and a combo Mickey/Minnie Mouse outfit for the full. I ran as Mickey the first half and Minnie for the second half. I got to ride two roller coasters during the marathon, and bought a Mickey brownie at mile 25. I took a bite crossing the finish 🙂
New Years Day Dash 5 miler
Madison, WI – 1/1/24
Actually had good weather for this race this year, not below zero. I ran in our “new year, new ewe” sheep outfit.
